Default Is there any software that can speed...

Is there any software out there that can speed up my internet?
Speed of my net could be faster at moment its 576Kbps can this be improved by software?????

I heard using Google accelerator speeds up the download of pages (because it downloads it to a google server rather than your computer). However, there is a major disadvantage to using this. It will store every pages, every key press, any email that you open. Apart from that, I can't think of anything.

I beleive all the things you see that speed up your overall internet just work by large cache files. Of course if you have almost all the images on your comp that a site uses, it's going to load almost instantly with whatever connection you have ;P

well this is sometimes bad since the picture for exmple may change but its filename stays the same. This happens alot with me on Opera.

There's a program called Onspeed that supposedly works by compressing the data before it reaches you and having your computer decompress it at the other end. There is a subscription for it but it's been catching on quick here in the UK. Check it out.
