Hey guys,
I've recently ran in to some trouble with some video files I recieved from my parents that were filmed on a Sony Digital Camera. They play the video but I'm getting no sound. I have some video clips that I recorded on my VHS Camera that work just fine but it seems that the clips from this sony digital camera do not want to work with windows media player. I can swear that I viewed a clip from the same camera about a year ago and it worked just fine but these new clips that are from the same camera are now not working. I recently had 2 virus's that were removed from my computer in which made windows media player lag out while playing video and sound clips but once they were removed everything else worked but these videos that were made from the Sony digital camera. Could the virus have screwed up windows media player? and would reinstalling it fix this? Or should I reinstall the software for the Sony digital camera?
