Exclamation Choosing a New Laptop - help?

I'm buying a new laptop and I need to keep the price minimum. So here's my question:

What aspects of the computer are important to upgrade, and which things are better to save on?

I use the computer mainly for schoolwork, internet, photo/graphics editing, the occasional computer game (but not super big/major ones), and music/movies.

It's important for my computer to be really fast (and to stay really fast, even when it's not totally new) and for it to be able to hold all my files (I store huge amounts of photos on it, and have about 100 GB in my iTunes library alone).
I also want to be able to access internet in as many places as possible and I need really good battery life.

When choosing a laptop, having it be colored is also important to me (I would like a color such as pink, although if it's possible to get a good skin for it it would be ok)

I also want a laptop with bluetooth, because I'd like to use a wireless mouse with it, although if that adds a lot to the price, I could use a mouse with a wire I guess.

Any recommendations?

Its going to be hard to find a Pink or colourful laptop, they are usually the blacks/greys/silver/white etc.. See what i can find.

I'd prefer keeping it to around $1000 or less (less is obviously preferable).

The laptop doesn't need to be pink, but I'd definitely either like a fun color or a skin for it.

Wow, cant belive i found one... I think this machine should be great for you, although the graphics card is integrated, so you could see poor performance with games, especially newer ones..

Also has bluetooth
nice big hard drive
great processor (T8100)
Battery life seems good, 2-4hrs

Or there is this, Not pink but might tickle your fancy.
Downsides, smaller hard drive, slower processor.
Upsides, dedicated Graphics card, will see better gaming and rendering performance. Also cheaper.
Cool design. Great brand (HP)
also has bluetooth..

Hope this helps a bit.
