Hey guys, im having some trouble trying to decide which one too pick.
I like the first one coz of the 15.4" WXGA, always liked that size for a laptop. But the second one has slightly better specs. But a 14" WXGA. Both are roughly the same price. Pros of the 14" Dedicated Graphics card 2Gb ram over 1Gb (can always upgrade that anyway) HDMI Port 250GB hdd over 160GB (can always upgrade that too) A53-BV09 is the one, in the left column. http://www.benq.com.au/products/joyb...specifications And now the 14" R45-PE-16 to the right. http://www.benq.com.au/products/joyb...specifications Edit: Also the 15" comes with Vista business and no express card slot, The 14" comes with Home premium and has an express card slot.

Seeing as they are both pretty much the same price, you won't see much of a difference between the 14 and 15.4" screens - if you do, just change the text size. For a home user, Business is just overkill. Not having to upgrade is always good (saves you money, time and effort, and doesn't void the warranty). The smaller model is most probably lighter too. Personally, I would go for the second one (smaller), because of the better specification. It really depends on what you want to use the computer for.

Personally I would get the second. However, i'd usually look for a laptop with better battery life.

Hey thanks,
I can get a 9cell battery for it, which will increase the life. then i'll also have two. As far as specs go, i think the second one is probably best.

As far as specs go, the second is the better. WXGA is only 1280 x 800 pixels anyway, and with Vista, thats not even hard to see at 12.1". I think that will only get 8 desktop icons vertical. A second battery would be a great idea, but if using two, it's always best not to run them completely dry. Shut down and change when Windows starts giving you warnings (or just change if A/C available).
Hope you enjoy your purchase.
