Default Help a fella out :]

So. my sister is going off to college soon and she asked me to pick her out a laptop. she didn't really give me a budget so im setting the budget at the MAX of 700 but cheaper the better. she wants it to be "big" but i know in the long run she will regret it. so something that's 15 inches will be wonderful. knowing my sister she wants something no one else has or has ever heard of. so if you can find something that like no one has but is still a GOOD laptop that would be even awesomer. I live in the US. her needs: something she can listen to music on chat hold a lot of her music and pictures. surf the web. just the simple stuff. but she will and i know will be doing some photoshopping o the laptop. ummm i believe she will try to major in something that will help her. she wants to be a hotel manager. so accounting as a minor and something else as a major. i forgot. but all your help will be great :] thanks a lot CF!

Hm. I'm guessing she wants to go with a 15.4" or 14.1" laptop. As for something no one has ever heard of, it'll be quiet risky, especially for $700. The only brand that I know of that's good but not wide spread is Asus, and the cheapest non-Eee Asus laptop is $999. Maybe a nice HP? They're pretty nice for the price.

well the "never heard of" doesn't have to really apply as long as like no one really has that one design of the laptop like the cover and such ya know? doesn't necessarily have to be the brand. like it could be a fujitsu for all i care :]
