I would get a motherbored that supprts that A64 and PCI-E if your getting a new card.

Also changed a motherboard isn't too hard, just take out the old and put in the new, sometimes the cables are in differen't places so you might have to look in your manual though, and MAKE SURE YOUR GROUNDED or you will destroy all of your parts.
