Hello, I have a problem and could tell me if it is fixable.
I have recently started a new course at college which involves me using iMacs quite alot. Anyway while at college we were asked to complete some work on word and if possible print off our completed tasks for that day at home. So thats what I intended to do... print my work off at home (as there is no access to colour printers unless you go elsewhere and pay at college) So I got home and tried to open the word documents up on my PC which runs Vista. I had saved my work on a data key. But when trying to open the files AVG notified me that there were viruses in my word documents.. So like normal I tried to heal them or move them to the volt but the response I get back is "Files cannot be healed. Data is invalid" Does that mean that its not a virus and my AVG is stupid? :/ I have told my tutors at college and they said its done it to a few students now but when they run anti-virus scans on their iMacs there is no sign of any viruses? Even the tutors are clueless about these so called viruses. ME CONFUSED. If you could help it would be appreciated. |

Try uploading the offending files to http://www.virustotal.com/ or http://virusscan.jotti.org - they will be scanned with a number of antivirus programs so you can easily get a second opinion.
