I noticed the price on DDR3 RAM has been dropping lately. Double Data Rate 2 memory seems to about half the price of DDR3 currently.
For instance this Patriot Extreme Performance 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) is $43: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220144 But this Patriot Extreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) is $70: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220304 Opinions if DDR3 memory is still too expensive versus DDR2?
