RAM slot not working
i just bought a 2gb stick of ddr2 ram.... i have 512 gb of ram in 2 slots already. they are in the following order when i put the 2gb stick in:
a. empty b. 215 mb c. 2 gb d. 215 mb i turn the computer on and it's only saying 512 still. so i rearrange them as followed: a.215 mb b. c. 215 mb d.2 gb now it's only saying 2 gb's..... are the slots messed up or can i not arrange the ram like that? |
