Exclamation Computer RAM is holding me back!!

I recently saved up some cash and built what i come to think as a dream machine:

MY COMPUTER
Vista Ultimate
Cooler Master 932HAF Casing
900w PowerSupply
Intel CoreQuad Q9550@2.83Ghz
3x 2GB DDR2 800MHz Ram
nforce 780i SLI board
SLIConfig 2x Geforce9800 Gtx+
Creative SB X-Fi sound
2x WD500GB 7,200Harddrives
Aquagate Max CPU Cooling
ZaleMan multifan Cntrl&Temp
and a few optical drives/burners..

The problem is my windows base score. After setting up and optimizing the performance i received a 5.9 for everything except the hard drives which are 5.6 until replaced with raptor 10,000rpm drives and my RAM which is a crummy 4.5. I have built computers before but need some idea's for this one. Can i Buy faster RAM for the 780i then 800MHz? With 6GB of RAM i would assume the only reason its a low score is because its not fast enough for the motherboard.
I also have heard that the windows rating system isn't that crucial but i would love to know how to receive a 5.9 mark for RAM. I plan to build another computer soon. Thanks any help is much appreciated.

What make is your ram such as corsair or ocz?
It might just be vista it gave me a 5.9 for ram then not even 24 hours later gave me a 5.5 and a 5.6 no changes made what so ever.

its probably becuase you arent using a dual channel configuration. try removing the odd stick (the one messing up the dual channel), i bet you will get a 5.9
