Default What kind of ram will i need?

I am buying a new cpu the athlon x2 6400. i currently have 667 ram in my pc will that be fast enough or will i need to upgrade to 800mhz ram? Would i even notice a difference?

You wont really notice a diff but check what your motherboard supports.

My motherboard supports 800 but i dont want to spend another 50 bucks on ram if its not worth it for the performance. thanks

667 is fast enough, it's what I'm using right now. 800 is faster but chances are quite good that your RAM isn't the bottleneck so it wont make too much of a difference.
