Post i need new webcam

ok my old webcam is prettymuch broke cuz it doesnt display me with the right color and lighting like it used to i even reinstalled the driver and it didnt help none so i think i droped it way too many times so thats why its not working for me now cyz i had it resting on a flatscreen lcd monitor prettymuch and it kept falling alot of the time.

i was wondering like if i want to do instant messnger like yahoo messenger webcam and stuff while im chatting with buddies what webcam would you recommend that i can take pictures with as well as chat on messenger and get good frames? and how much would it cost for this particular webcam i have in mind?

i used to have this webcam tho i might want to try something more flatscreen friendly or something lol also i would like one to use for video as well that has that feature too

by the way i had the gray model of this

but if theres something with better performance i rather stick with getting something better

This is the one I use...there are cheaper ones but I am really impressed with the quality of picture it delivers. Microphone works well, clear and loud sound. Looks good in all types of lighting also. I just plugged it in and it worked with everything, Yahoo messenger, Skype and still pictures. Great web cam, had it for about 2 years and works like new still.

Mine is pretty much the same as ScOuT's except his has double the picture size and is from Logitech.

Mine: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826105033

I'm pretty sure during setup you can disable the cam's mic. If not, then I'm sure there is a setting for it somewhere.
