Default I need a computer

I'm 17 years old and I'm in the mood of buying a computer. I know a little on them and I've been reading up on them . I need it for mostly gaming downloading music and burning cds, but i also need it for the internet and school work. I can spend about 1000 on it. If any one has any help they can give me for a nice computer, it would be appreciated.

Is it really that hard to use english?!?

It's ok if you're planning on upgrading it in a year or so but if you're not then it's not. Ussually the cheap computers are older hardware and not that as new to the more expensive computers (common sense though)...

Yes. Yes it is (although this one isnt as bad as some I've seen). I'm starting to get quite annoyed with that ... thinkin' I'll start some editing if this continues.
