Hi,
I'm new to this website. I may or may not sound as though I know what I'm talking about but I don't really!! My computer is slow and I was going to buy a bigger memory to make it faster. I have two memory slots, only one is being used with I think 256mb of memory. I have checked on the manufacturers website and the maximum memory I can have is 2gb. According to the website memory modules should be installed in pairs of matched memory size. Would maxing the memory to 2gb with either a 2gb memory module (if there is such a thing) or two 1gb memory modules be and idea or would I be as well just buying a 1gb memory module to replace the old 256mb memory module that came with the computer? Kind Regards. |
