Default Making my hard drive External. Little Help?

So i have an older hard drive ( Western Digital WD800EB) from a computer that is pretty much toast. Me and my family have files on the hard drive we want. I was thinkin of makin it into an external. Any suggestions on enclosures? And is there anything i need to know when shoppin for one? Sorry if this is a dumb question, and thanks in advance.
