I dont' think that that was designed for CAD.....I think it is for movies . And no, I don't think that you would be more productive, because you would waste time staring at the wonderful new screen.

It is designed more for CADD and professional use because of the required video cards....NVidia Open GL type workstation cards...capable of surgical displays, CADD, etc.

Watch movies? Pretty wasteful yes.
