Adding Another HDD

Hi Guys,
Well....
Got an Acer Aspire T135-T970, at least that's what it says on the front!
Problem I have is;
My inbuilt hard drive is a 200GB SATA (7 Pin), plenty of room I know. However I am seriously into my music, and 200GB soon dissapears!
So...I have another 80GB PATA HD (40 Pin)
Now there is a function on the motherboard that lets me install the older style hard disk, the old 40pin jobby...
I thought this would be pretty simple, so I dived in, installed my 80GB HD and set it as the slave drive by removing the jumper.
The CMOS recognises that I have installed the hard drive, however "My Computer" doesn't, so I can't actually do anything with it at the moment...
The 80GB drive is out of my old computer, and does have data on... So it's not like it should need to be formatted or anything.
Any of you guys got any idea what step I should take next!?!
