Default Absolutely Stumped, PLEASE HELP!

I have samsung sc-mx20l and im having a difficult time learning how im suppose to save the video to my computer so that i can edit it and eventually upload it to youtube.

It records on an sd card and i connect the usb cord directly to my camera and into the usb port on my computer. I've tried nearly everything and im very frustrated any expertise advice? Im asking for expert advice because it seems difficult enough to make an assumption that you have tobe an expert to understand how to fix this. I thought it would be simple...

You need to use the disk that comes with the camera and install it on the computer, they also sell sdcard>usb adapters so you can just pop the sd card right in your computer. Which I think is the best.
