i got this 6 port pci usb adapter. and thers a 4 pin connector to it. not the big 12v one, but the little pin one. wat is it for?

are you kidding me? are you talking about the 4 pin connector that goes to the usb controlller?

I think the reference is to the lil' ol' connector to the right of the USB connectors.... which I see two are on the inside.
Yeah, that's useful ????? Still, if the card was used in earnest, it'd need more power than the PCI spec allows, so my guess is it's to take a power connector like you use on a floppy drive from the main PSU. But!, yeah, it might connect to a matching mobo connector .... in which case ... the chances of using the board to the max is .. er ... zilch, don't you think? You could use the USB ports that are inside for hooking something up that requires USB in the inside of your computer, instead of having it go outside of your case. (Ex. Card Reader, or an External Enclosure that you put inside). As for the connector, try and see if your floppy power cord works.

yea i knoe wat the external and internal is for. yea i plugged in the floppy power conector and it fits. but doesnt reli make a differece. everything seem to be the same. ?????
