My experience is Xcopy is the fastest copy method of data, I have ever used.
I used this for backup purpose. but with the days, data changes. Now I want to use this command to copy only the new files or the files whose attribute is changed. Anyone know the switch throughwhich i can get my purpose?? |

/D:m-d-y Copies files changed on or after the specified date. If no date is given, /D copies only those files whose source time is newer than the destination time.

For some daft reason that eludes me now I loved playing around with DOS, but have forgotten most of it now.

DOS was certainly powerful and unforgiving, also there were so many switches that you had to jot them all down, it was impossible to remember it all. Now it's a case of click an icon and it's done, the GUI has done wonders for computing but has now made us brain dead.
