Equal to or better then Spy Sweeper

My Spy Sweeper subscription is up and i'm really not willing to spend $19 to renew it.. Is there any freeware that is just as, if not better then Spy Sweeper?

For an on-demand scanner I would recommend Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware as an excellent option. Super Antispyware is very good as well. It is a good idea to use more than one on-demand scanner, as some may catch things that others miss.
