The top 5 for memory are:
1. SpySweeper 34,208k
2. svchost 22,848k
3. firefox is taking up 18,920k but I dont think it really counts because that's what I'm using to post this.
4. explorer 16,136k
5. CCAPP (Norton antivirus) 14,540k

The top 5 for CPU are:
1. System Idle Process 99
2. Firefox 00
3. SpySweeper 00
4. CCAPP 00
5. alg 00
And a lot of random stuff keeps poping up as #2.

Just downloaded a trial, got 23,656k, maybe the trial has got some features disabled. Seems a bit excessive. Deleted it straight away.

I turned of all the IE shields in spysweeper since I use firefox, and now its down to 10,360k. I think I need more ram. How much more do you think I should get?

I'd try disabling spysweeper first, if it makes no difference, and you want more memory, another 512 will do it.
