M1530 memory upgrade and cooler!

Hey, I own a Dell XPS M1530 with the following specs:
-Intel core 2 duo 2.2 ghz
-2GB of ram
-Vista Home Premium 32 bit

I am planning to upgrade the memory to 4GB and buy a laptop cooler since it gets really hot when playing games.

I alway assumed that 32-bit operating systems can't read 4gb of ram (max 3.5). However my friend has the same system with 4GB. Will I encounter problems or does vista 32bit some how recognize's 4 gigs?

This is what I am thinking of purchasing, what do you think?

Also does anyone recommend any specific laptop cooler for the M1530? Would like to spend max $50 on it if possible.

Well, It also depends where you are using your laptop. Does your laptop have proper access to cool air? is the fan blocked? Second is your laptop made for playing games?

If your playing at a desk I would recommend a cooling station/dock witch can be purchased at your local Walmart or try TigerDirect.

Yes it is a gaming laptop and the fan is not blocked. I also believe that its hard to find a proper Docking station for the M1530. What will be the purpose of the dock station that will just require a monitor? I just want something to keep my laptop cool while playing games until I get my desktop computer in January.
