I am at my wits end with this laptop.
I received this laptop with a dead hard drive.Installed a new SATA hd with a fresh install of windows xp along with all the drivers.Updated all drivers too. about twenty min in I get a blue screen.SO I tried another hd with another fresh install of windows xp.Updated all the drivers and installed the latest security from microsoft. Also ran a copy of AVast on the machine and there are no saved files or folders on the computer so I know I am not dealing with a virus. So Ive tried everything I know to do.Flashed the bios, removed memory and put only one card in at a time, installed speedfan ETC.Tried un-installing the video card and running without it for a while.Same thing 20 min or so in blue screen Speed fan is detecting that hd 45c core1 51c core 2 63c.core 2 does seem to rise to 70 at times of heavy traffic. I ran Othros and it passes all the test until I get the blue screen of death. So someone help me out. What next? |
