Default No sound

ya my sisters friend put windows xp on here (little late i know lol) and now we can't get any sound outta the dam thing. its not the speakers cuz i can hook em up to my diskman all the time, but i kinda want some sound from the computer...ne suggestions? (i a noob at computers btw lol)

I've been looking at some otehr posts where ppl have been having troubles with speakers, and i went to control panel and i went to the sound thingy and it jsut said no drivers installed..where do i get the drivers?

do you have a sound card?
is the volume set to mute in colume control?

by the way, where in ontario? (city)

kool, anyways, do you have somewhere to plug the speakers into other that the modem (place with a bunch of phone ports), ya, i know it is a simple question.

er..checking..nope jsut the green, blue and red

That doesn't mean that he has a sound card, he might have onboard sound.

it could be a sound card or onboard sound, either way hes got sound
