whats causing the losing wireless connection?
everything is okay with cable lines but when going wireless on the notebook every so often it will lose the connection and my online game will just hang and i will have to quit LOL

My Averatec does that every so often. I think it's just a fluke with the card as it's not too common.
ANother problem could be interference. Make sure there's nothing else electrical around the AP/Router

The same happens to me as well I have read that it is a problem in windows and not with the wireless cards... No fix ... Until longhorn :-(
But this windows xp hack helped my connection... http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1722545,00.asp
