My V8 should arrive this Tuesday. I've read that the installation is a bit difficult. You briefly touch on this in the review. My HAF 932 has a hole behind the case that allows access to apply a backplate. Will I still need to remove the mobo?

I got it when It came out. SO beautiful! Keeps my i7 at 23c idle, havent tested it out underload. Fits my HAF very perfect. I bought mine threw frozencpu.com the only site that had them left when they first came out. I had custom heatshrink cable management UV red. Very beautiful. The only thing is the PCI slot is kind of weird. I just stuck the fan controller in one of the HAF's upper holes.

I also thinking about the v10 and v12. heres the link http://www.dvhardware.net/article24416.html

The V12 looks HUGE! I don't know about the v10 if it'll fit most setups due to the RAM.

Yeah, I got mine at newegg - they're already out-of-stock last I checked. So, I have my mobo installed. Will I need to remove the mobo, or can I simply apply the backplate and install the other hardware without removal. Just curious; I'll find out myself soon enough.

Possibly, I had to on the Rampage 2 extreme. Installing was kind of hard. It was my first HUGE cpu cooler so. Meh, Kinda nothing to be worried about.

Sorry to double, But I just spoke to an Coolermaster dude, which he told me the V10 will be release mid 09 with no release price yet. Sorry this isn't a V10 thread.

I have not read about or seen the hole in person on a HAF 932...that would be great if you didn't have to

I do see the hole you are talking about...just have to try and see what happens I guess
