Default Just Painted Laptop

Well i got sick and tired of looking at the scratched up surface of my 5-6 year old Compaq Presario 2500, so today i decided to paint it. It cost be a total of a little under $5 using 96 cent spray paint from walmart and a pack of 400 grit sandpaper(had some 1000 grit to smooth it down a little more). I sprayed the lid black, then red while it was still wet, then a little more black to accent it. After that dried i sprayed it with some clear paint(96 cents also, for some reason the red was $1.12 and the black green and clear were 96 cents) to protect it a little better, but as you can see the paint apparently wasnt 100% dry when i was reassembling it, and it got a big mark on it which i will fix tomorrow probably. Also since its so old, i didnt feel like spending money on another dc jack for the motherboard, so i just soldered wires directly to the motherboard and hooked up up to some quick connect terminals(its not the best work, but i did it in like 10minutes, gonna get a barrel jack if i can). THere is a slight V shape from the first time i painted it today, was gonna do black with green lines, but didnt turn out well and i didnt feel like sanding it down again lol. Also, another bit i needed to add was the camera flash makes it look brighter red... its actually more darker like a maroon almost.

Pictures:

Old pics look like crap, gonna post some new ones without flash tomorrow... dont feel like takin pics at 1am..
Edit 2: Ok, i got out tripod and didnt use flash this time, looks almost like it actually does now

Edit: Wow, apparently the clear was a little soft when i was putting laptop back together, so there are a few permanant fingerprints(well, good thing about using clear is you can just go over it again and you wont be able to see it). And yes, i put clear gloss on the keyboard, makes it nice and shiny

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
New? Dont forget to read the rules. Heatware
