i killed an acrobat reader process last night because the handles were rising extremely high and things were freezing up. (on a toshiba qosmio laptop)
when i rebooted the hotkey error popped up...it was frozen. i rebooted again and the when the start menu came up the system icon tray loaded a couple things then everything but desktop background disappeared. the menu pops back up tries to load and disappears continuously. i did DL the tvuplayer yesterday and i uninstalled it with no change. i also killed a process that i wasn't familiar with which i think was called superspeedup or something like that. i tried vundofix as well and found something and got rid of it...i think. any ideas, andy |
