Red face HELP ME! Network Between XP and Me.

I created a home network between a win XP and a win Me Computer with an Ethernet Crossover Cable . From the XP I can access files and printers, on the Me computer no problem, but when I try to access the shared files and shared printers with the Me a window pops up saying (Enter Network Password) THE thing is I don't have a Network Password, I never created one. And no mater what I type I get a message saying

(The password wasn't recognized. Make sure you typed the password correctly, and try again. If the problem persists, you might not have access to the specified share. For more information, contact your system administrator.)

What’s with that, I am the system administrator so pleas help me.
