can anyone help, I had a blue screen messege come up on my laptop then it restarted a few times.
Now it wont switch on anymore, even with the power supply connected.

The blue screen info was

pci.sys - address f786b0bf base at f7864000, datestamp 3b7d855c

Hmm, sounds like a memory issue. You probably are going to have to replace the SoDIMMs. Luckly, ram is cheap these days.

I have tried a different memory stick and its still the same.

Ihave got it starting up again, the wire is loose on the power supply.

Could it be anything else?

Is there a way to fin out what the error messages mean?

Thanks

I think Microsoft are the only ones who actually know what they mean. But, they could just be random to make you think Microsoft are more intelligent. . . idk why.

Download and run memtest on the ram for a while. Get it from here, there is a readme included.
