Default Dell inspiron 1100 trying to upgrade

I am trying to upgrade my laptop right now i can barely even run xp >,<

im on a very tight budget so which would speed it up more a new processor
or more ram

im running on a celeron 2.3 ghz single core 478 socket processor

and 256 mb of ram ddr

are there multi core processors that would fit in my laptop?

and jsut over all which would speed me up more to run jsut chatrooms and msn dont intend to playu anything more then counterstrike on it ...and im deffinatly not doign that now

i seriously doubt you'll ever be able to play cs on that.
anyways you can't upgrade your cpu.
the only thing you'll be able to do is upgrade your ram.

If you're looking for a cheap laptop, then why not check ebuyer?

They've got some machines that should play CS quite well for about £350-400, but they've also got Vista (but 2gb ram, so no problems there).
