Default How to take a screenshot

Can sombody please tell me how to take a screenshot on windows 98 and xp. Also mention where to pick up the picture. I've done it in games before and have always wondered how to do it. Thx for any help

press the print sreen button, it will copy the screen image to the clip board

the clip board is the place that item go to when you click copy or patse (you will often do this using a word editing package or something similar). After you have pressed print screen button, sometimes it looks like a button saying PrtSc, you can access the screen shots by going to a image package (MSPAINT for example) and selecting Edit -> Paste (or pressing Ctrl + V)

try to hold Alt and then press PrintScreen, this will result in copying on the active window that is being displayed.
and then paste it normally on mspaint, or ant other image or word editor.

Lol, I just tried that, and the words "Microsoft PowerPoint" cam up in green letters on my screen.
