Question File Open Error Message ???

I've downloaded couple of files off the internet & getting this error messages.

Wonder if anyone around can help me know more about this particular error (as seen in the attachment) & the possible solution to sort it out.

It's a couple of programs (from the icons I can see) where one icon is of "parrot" (285 KB) & the other one is of "normal software program" (1.90 MB) icon.

Both programs itself contain some "wav" files, as far as I know.

What version of windows you running? Is this a safe file to open? Or could it be virus? Maybe it has already infected your computer, and know you have no access to the internet.. uhh ohh

as mr trizoy said, u have to make sure that it is not a virus, and if not, try to make it open it as "mask", that is, try to right click on it, and then chose properties, and chose run in windows 2000 mode,
so if it is a correct file then u should be able to run the file, and if it is not a correct file, then u should not be able to run the file,

post more to learn more.

copy from c:\windows\repair the file called autoexec.nt and paste it into c:\windows\system32 and click yes to overwrite the old one (if necessary)

the problem is that , if that file has been overwritten, and thus we will get on the same point.
