Am I mixed up here? I thought a buffer for a DVD-R was a chunk of memory that, when the DVD-R burner would 'run out of' stuff to burn (which occurs when the user is doing other things on the computer), it would use that chunk of memory to burn while it waited for more data to arrive to be burnt (I thought it was one of those, once you start, you can't stop really type of things. )
