Building an External HD for under $80
I went ahead and bought a Antex MX100 case the other day on sale for $7. So now I need to get a internal 3.5" HD. I am wondering what the differences are with the new SATA HD over the older ATA100 style HD's? Any compatibility issues with Windows XP 32 bit?
I will most likely buy a WD brand HD and in the size range of 100-500gb. I have a 250gb internal now but only 40gb is used up. I am trying to build this for under $80. Thanks Just an idea. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136075
