Default "View Mark-up" equivalent in Open Office

I am trying to modify a Word document using Open Office. I am using Ubuntu OS if that makes any difference. When I open the document at work (office) it has all the changes I have made shown. I have to click (and de-select) "View Markup" in the View menu. When I open the document in Open Office the changes are still marked, but I don't know how to get rid of them...

Anyone had an experiences like this...?

Thanks in advance, Doug.
