I have an older Dell that runs on XP which is starting to act up, lock up and generally is dying I think.
So I purchased a new HP that has the XP Pro downgrade feature. What is the best software out there to transfer my Documents, photos and programs to the new computer? Thanks |

The easiest way is to use XP's own "Files and Settings Transfer wizard", you'll find it in System Tools. It allows the option of using a network cable, serial cable etc. The other option is to remove your hard disc from the old machine and slave it into your new one, then transfer the files over.
