I have been trying to figure out how to reset my drivers on my old hdd that has XP installed on it. My old mobo went bad, so I built a new system with a new hdd and installed a fresh copy of xp. I replaced the mobo in my old system. I tried repairing it using the XP disc. It wouldn't work. So I pulled the HDD out of the old system. I then plugged the old hdd into the new system. I downloaded most of the files I want to save on to my new hdd in my new system. Is there any way to backdoor the device manager to reset the drivers for the new mobo. Thanks for any help.
