Hello everyone,
I have a laptop which a friend gave to me because the screen stopped working, so he took the hdd out and put it into an external hdd case. I want to use this laptop so i bought a new 2.5" internal hdd to put in it, as the laptop has no disc drive I was wondering how I could install windows xp onto the hdd before I put it into the laptop, anyone got any ideas? I thought that maybe i could take the hard drive out of my current laptop and put the new hard drive into it then install windows xp onto it, then put it into the new laptop and put my old hard drive back into the original laptop, would this pose any problems or could it be risky? Cheers and thank you in advance, Ben. |
