Default NT PC not allowing login

Hi,

we have a number a NT PCs left in the office that since last night will not allow us to login. Whether I use a user or admin (network and local) account the PC appears to allow me to login. Once the login box has disappear after what appears to be a successful login the screen shows nothing and then logs out with the error message stating that the login was incorrect, check that the account is not locked out or that the login details are correct. Obviously I have checked all user accounts which are not locked out.

I have tried on all the NT PCs in the office and the same problem occurs. I have searched the web for any hints and come back with nothing. I have looked on anti virus sites and cannot see anything that looks like this issue. So I'm a bit stumped. Anyone got any ideas?

It may be a virus download or buy a anti-virus scanner, or it may be spyware, but i don't think it's spyware. It's probably a virus, and by the way how old are the computers??

What type of network do you have setup? (i'm guessing NT3.51 Sever/Client?)
