Default laptop on 24/7 okay?

anybody had it on 24/7?

It shouldn't hurt anything so long as the cooling is good. Only thing to consider is that parts typically don't last as long in laptops as they do in Desktops. Most laptops are not made to be run as a main system, more of the portable work station.

Now, my brother used his laptop daily since he got it(around 98), and it's still doing ok. He did have to get the harddrive repalced, I think the rest has been fine.
