open multiple software apps with one computer.

hello,
sometimes when my computer is running too many apps it runs a little slow and as a result multiple apps of the same program open even when only one is allowed. (ie i can open a game and two sepereate windows of games will open up). my question is, is there a way to control this so i can actually open up two apps when i want to?

Its prabally being clicked more then the amounmt of times by you since its going slow, yits prabally opening it but you don;t know it is so you click again.

A faster CPU, or bette/more RAM can make multitaking better.
