Talking 6600(GT) running at 89 Celsius at full load!

Hey everyone, my card hits up to 89 Celsius at full load (80 at 400/1150)! I have a feeling that's too much. What do you think? What cooling solution would you recommend?

Default I see...

Hmmm..so it seems like I am not the only one. It does not do that high when playing UT 2004. That goes 80 max. However I get such high temps when playing Underground 2.

Default Hmmm

Certainly has something to do with more intensive graphics. Actually with Unreal 2004 I barely get over 75.

1. Yer overclocking. That comes with the territory
2. 6600s tend to overheat due to a different (and inferior) heatsink mount
3. depending on the driver rev you have, you may be experiencing the temperature bug ... 76.44 and later corrected this

Talking Yeah

This sucks. I may have to get a Zalman or something to keep it cool. I know that I would not be able to use the Arctics because of the heatsinks applied to all the memory on my board. I had a careful look at the heatsink. It seems good and solid copper...going by reference design. However, there is a lot of gunk on the GPU. I think that there is too much.
