Default adapter/splitter

Do they make a splitter type device that would let me plug my headset and speakers into it and then plug it into my audio out port on my sound card?

They have splitters, but obviously they will play out of both ports...

What your looking for is a Y adapter, something like this, although you can get them for less of course. http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...Fid=278%2D2753

Just make sure it splits the signal in stereo instead of mono.

What i need is a little different than that Lynx I need 2 female ends that go to one male so i could hook my speakers and headset into the adapter then the adapter into my sound out port.

I hear what your saying. A basic Y adapter should do that. I think any of them will do that as long as connect it that way, either split a singal signal into two (like the one port on your sound card, split two ways (for your headset and another for speakers), and the opposite, two signals into one (from like your stereo red and white out, into one).

they do do them, but it splits the sound in half so you get half out of one thing and half out of the other, it can be a bit crap
