Talking Building a computer

I'am going to build my own comp but dont know really where to start. I dont know how to pick a nice mobo or what a good price is. I think i'd like a 2.4 - 2.6 ghz processor but dont know what other features i should include. Any info or reccomendations?

www.tigerdirect.com had some nice mobo/CPU combos. Do not go celeron. AMD or P4's are nice choices. 512mb of ram should be sufficient, and a nite ATI graphics card above the 9250 should do you fine. Get a good motherboard, and you will be very happy when you want to upgrade later. If you could tell us what you like to do (gaming, etc) we could help you a little more.
