Default Apple going to X86?

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=23714
I had a friend send me this link about Apple turning towards X86 chips. I'm not too sure if this is legit or merely a specualtion by the Inquierer. Anyone (like prae) know if this is a possible truth?

I sadly (being a mac user) found this info out yesterday....they say they are switching mainly so they can get a 64bit processor into there notebooks, which is where most of there profit is(other the ipod)...but this aint gunna happen for another 2 years, giving developers time to port there current apps into intel functionality.....I am sure though Steve made a good decision for the long run
