Hi,
Can anyone tell me how I would install Linux on a machine running windows? and Can I do a clean format/install using windows startup disks? and How would I have windows and linux on the 1 PC? Cheerz

you will have to partition up your drive, install xp on one partition, and install linux on another partitions
read something like http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...install-guide/ there guides are good, you will have to commit sometime to reading though

ext3? I have suse linux and i thought it would be a simple matter of inserting the cd and clicking setup, but there is no setup on the cd. How do I actualy install linux over win98 or me? And can I use fat32?

I don't think that FAT32 works, casue linux have the extension ext3,
Ihave used the red hat linux and then I havetochose what type of file system should I have have u change the BIOS to load with cdrom? |

Oh I booted from cd rom and I've got suse installing now, sorry about that!
