Default HP nx 9010

Hi,

I bought a HP nx9010 recently off ebay And it has been fine for a few months. Recently the screen went blue and it has happened again today. It isn't the BSOD becaue i plugged it into the main computer monitor and it went away so i'm pretty sure the screen has gone but does anyone else have any suggestions?

Default You have a memory dump enabled on the pc

I have two NX9010's. The blue screen can be scary but it's nothing to be concerned about. This is actually a feature from XP and unless your a PC guru you have no need for it.

The blue screen pops up, does the memory dump, and reboots.. correct? It occurs when a system error occurs and is a flaw in XP.

You can disable memory dump creation.

Open your registry
go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\CrashControl
create or modify if already exist value called "CrashDumpEnabled"
set the value as 0 to disable or 1 to enable dump creation
exit your registry and restart or logout for setting to take effects
