I have Ubuntu on my portable HD & I was wondering : "How would I configure (I wouldn't mind erasing Portable HD) The boot option screen (Windows Vista -or- Ubuntu) to only ask me if I want to boot either ONLY when my portable HD is plugged in when I turn it on?"
And- Could I have my portable HD w/ Ubuntu on it boot from any computer with out configuring anything on the preexisting internal HD?
